Curtis W. Chambers
For over 25 years, Curtis W. Chambers has been a valued financial advisor in Pinellas County, building lasting relationships with clients through personalized service and professional guidance. A bit of a traditionalist and part of the baby boomer echo generation, Curtis appreciates the professional touch of wearing a suit to work (even if that's not the norm today). His passion extends beyond finance, with a keen interest in staying up to date with an exciting and rapidly changing world, especially the latest industrial revolution: AI.
Curtis's passion for finance sparked early—back in ninth grade—when he read Paul Erdman’s bestselling novel, “The Crash of '79.” Later, as an English major, F. Scott Fitzgerald's books celebrating American enterprise solidified his interest in the field. Curtis graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas and is a proud member of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest academic honor society. His drive to help others led him to earn an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis (Olin Business School), one of the nation's premier business schools, further shaping his approach to personalized financial planning.
Curtis’s first job was with a major advertising firm in St. Louis, D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles. While he enjoyed the experience, Curtis decided that working for large corporations was not for him. Instead, he wanted to work closely with individuals, where he could make a positive difference in their lives.
Curtis’s career in financial services started as a life and health insurance agent before he transitioned to a regional brokerage firm. Along the way, he earned the prestigious Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation, which reflects rigorous ethical standards and ongoing education requirements.
Recognizing the value of truly individualized financial advice, Curtis made a pivotal decision in 2009 to become an independent financial advisor with LPL Financial. This move allows him to provide personalized advice tailored to each client's financial goals. Being independent means Curtis isn't tied to any specific family of funds or investment products, allowing him to craft customized strategies from a wide array of options that best suit your needs.
Curtis lives in Largo with his wife and sons. He enjoys staying active through exercise, diving into a good book, and sharpening his strategic thinking through video games.
Today, Curtis continues to guide clients at LPL Financial with the same dedication and personalized service that has defined his career for over two decades.
